Week 3 of the ESDW: Chabé accelerates its transition to a low-carbon fleet!

On the occasion of this third European Week for Sustainable Development (EWSSD), we would like to highlight our ongoing commitment to more environmentally-friendly mobility.

For several years now, Chabé has been pursuing an ambitious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy aimed at reducing its CO2 emissions and promoting sustainable practices in all aspects of its activities.

A transition to greener mobility

The transition of the Chabé fleet to greener mobility has become essential to reduce our carbon footprint, while meeting our clients’ growing demand for sustainable mobility solutions.

Today, this ambition is a reality: 60% of our fleet is now made up of low-carbon vehicles, compared with just 27% in 2020. This significant evolution has been made possible by our ongoing investment in high-performance hybrid and electric vehicles.

Recent additions to our fleet include iconic vehicles such as the Range Rover P440e, the BMW i7, as well as the Mercedes EQV, EQE, and the new Mercedes E-Class. These vehicles combine elegance, comfort and performance, while offering greener transportation solutions.

What’s new: the Bentley Bentayga hybrid

Continuing our commitment to low-carbon mobility, we are pleased to announce the addition of the Bentley Bentayga hybrid to our fleet.

This exceptional vehicle embodies the marriage of ecological performance and luxury, and is equipped with a 462 hp V6 hybrid engine. This engine offers exceptional power, surpassing the 340 hp of a conventional combustion engine, while considerably reducing CO2 emissions.

The Bentayga Hybrid represents our commitment to offering a premium mobility experience that respects environmental standards.

A commitment recognized and rewarded

This transition to a greener fleet has not gone unnoticed. Chabé was recently awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, a distinction that underlines our excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility. With an overall score of 70 out of 100, we rank in the top 7% of companies assessed by EcoVadis, and even in the top 2% of the ground passenger transport sector.

Guillaume Connan, Chairman of the Group, comments: “It’s a source of great pride for us to confirm our silver medal, which testifies to our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This distinction is of particular importance, especially at a time when the 4 EcoVadis evaluation criteria have become more demanding than in the past. Our progress since 2020 illustrates our voluntary and committed approach to CSR. We will continue to work to improve our CSR results.”

This recognition testifies to our concrete commitment and determination to go beyond standards to promote luxury and sustainable mobility.

Towards an even greener future

At Chabé, we believe that every small step counts in the fight against climate change.

That’s why we will continue to invest in innovative, sustainable mobility solutions to meet our clients’ expectations and protect our planet.

In this, our third SEDD, we reaffirm our commitment to reconciling prestige and environmental responsibility. We are proud to be able to offer our clients transport options that combine comfort, luxury and respect for the environment.

Because at Chabé, sustainability isn’t just a trend, it’s a promise.
