Week 1 of ESDW: Chabé joins the United Nations Global Compact

European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW) is a key initiative to promote the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across Europe.

This week, Chabé is delighted to reinforce its commitments by joining the United Nations Global Compact, a decisive step in our journey towards a more responsible and sustainable company.

The United Nations Global Compact: a commitment to a sustainable world

Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact provides a global platform for companies, organizations and governments to promote responsible business practices. By joining this initiative, Chabé is committed to aligning its operations with ten universal principles relating to human rights, labor law, the environment and anti-corruption.

With over 20,000 companies and 4,000 non-profit organizations in more than 160 countries, the Global Compact is the world’s largest initiative dedicated to sustainable business development. It also highlights the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), calling on members to take concrete bespoke action to achieve these crucial goals for the future of our planet.

Chabé and the Global Compact: a concrete commitment to the environment

By joining the Global Compact, Chabé affirms its commitment to a rigorous CSR strategy, focused on concrete actions in favor of the environment. This commitment translates into more sustainable operational practices, reducing our ecological footprint, and promoting innovation to minimize our environmental impact. The Global Compact provides a framework for integrating these objectives into the heart of our business, aligning our strategy with recognized international standards.

The Global Compact network in France, with over 2,000 companies and 100 organizations, is a dynamic community dedicated to promoting best practices in sustainable development. For Chabé, joining this network means actively participating in local and international initiatives aimed at protecting our environment while contributing to responsible economic growth.

A proud Chabé: towards a sustainable future

During European Sustainable Development Week, we are reaffirming our determination to make a positive contribution to the planet, and to inspire others to do the same. Our CSR strategy, supported by our participation in the Global Compact, guides our efforts to minimize our environmental impact while promoting sustainable and responsible mobility.

We invite you to discover how Chabé, through its commitments and initiatives, actively participates in building a more sustainable future. Together, let’s make a difference for our planet.
